Environmental Scientist/Wetland Delineator
Position: Environmental Scientist/Wetland Delineator
Wallace & Pancher, Inc. is an engineering and environmental consulting firm that provides services in environmental planning and permitting, natural resource studies, and design services to a diverse group of clients in the private and public sector. Our rapid growth can be attributed to the dedication to our clients, relationships with environmental agencies, and our “get it done” philosophy. We employ a professional dedicated staff of engineers, biologist, designers, and construction personnel.
Our philosophy: Bridge the gap between engineering and ecology.
We approach each project as an opportunity for the engineering and ecological disciplines to work hand-in-hand to achieve client goals. Our highly qualified staff is experienced with wetland and stream design, natural resource ecology, and the laws and regulations that govern the protection of natural resources.
We are seeking qualified professionals to fill a full-time position of Environmental Scientist:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in environmental science, biology, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting wetland delineations and federal/state permitting. Experience working with the United States Army Corps of Engineers and the Jurisdictional Determination process required. Additional experience in watershed science/planning, stream restoration practices, mitigation design, and GIS is desirable. Experience in the mining industry, particularly permitting, is desirable, but not necessary. Some local travel and overnight stay is required.
WPI offers a challenging and exciting work environment, competitive salary, benefits including healthcare and retirement, as well as paid vacation and holidays. If you are looking for a rewarding working environment with advancement potential, please contact us.
