We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer for one of our Central Florida locations.  Responsible for the direct management of assigned phosphogypsum stack and clay settling area projects in Mosaic’s Florida and Louisiana operations. Provide project engineering support to the Mosaic Research and Development group.  Design and execute civil/geotechnical engineering projects in support of the engineering superintendent.

 

Principle Accountabilities:

 Direct and execute projects for assigned phosphogypsum stack and clay settling area solutions within the Florida and Louisiana operations.Investigate new phosphogypsum stack and clay settling area construction and closure solutions.Interact with the regulatory community, other government agencies, and political offices.Interact with other Research and Development functions.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Skills:

 B.S. Degree is required.  Major in Civil/Geotechnical Engineer is preferred.10 years of operational experience preferred. Microsoft Office:  Emphasis on Excel and Word skills.  AutoCAD or GIS capability (plus). Applicable plant operations software.Strong communication and leadership skills are required.Ability to be a self-starter/self directed individual.Must be a creative thinker.Must be a motivated worker.
