We are seeking a skilled Electro Hydraulic Systems Engineer that is ready for success! Working with internal and external hydraulics suppliers and Business Unit partners, the SIB group helps to define what electro hydraulic system features will be included on the machine and documents them in the form of detailed system requirements. With these system requirements defined, the group then coordinates with internal and external suppliers to ensure that sensors, actuators, hydraulic components, and software are in place to make the machine function. Engineers perform bench level testing on the systems and will travel to customer and Proving Grounds test sites to provide checkout and trouble shooting services. This work includes detailed analysis of performance, definition of failure modes, and the creation of diagnostics and backup systems to deal with system failures when they happen. Engineers in the section define software requirements, but are not required to write code themselves this is accomplished with Matlab based autocoding functionality or through the use of internal and external code development resources. Engineers in the section are responsible for following the design from concept to production to post production maintenance support Requirements: Requirements:BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering or related Desirable Qualifications: Candidate should have experience in least two of the following areas; Electrohydraulic, Engine, or Transmission Control System Design, Electrohydraulic, Engine, or Transmission Control System Analysis, Embedded Control System Design in Matlab/Simulink, Heavy Equipment or Embedded Control System Test, Controls Rapid Prototyping.
