Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor

Responsible for directing the maintenance activities of an Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance crew to include but not inclusive:Supervising PM and Calibration tracking of; Continuous Emissions Monitors, Anodic Protection, Environmental PH monitoring, MACT instruments. Automatic control valve analysis; maintenance tracking, inventory control, tuning analysis.  Supervision of electrical inspection on all MCCs and associated equipment; thermal imaging, motor inventory control, QC/QA on all electrical motor rebuilds.  Establish a Critical Equipment list, review and establish spare parts list for such equipment, write appropriate PMs review and update PMs as required.

- Supervises, directs, and monitors the daily activities of employees to ensure projects are completed in an efficient manner.
- Trains employees in area work, quality improvement, and safety.
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates projects by arranging equipment purchases, manpower, and materials, prepares purchasing requisitions.
- Monitors and initiates changes as necessary on jobs to assure desired results for meeting schedules and budgets.
- Initiates both verbal and written reports to inform management of plans and developments.
- Maintains time-keeping, project, and investigation records.
- Inspects work areas as necessary to maintain safe work practices and conditions.
- Makes recommendations to supervisors regarding equipment modifications, improvements, or replacement and/or procedural changes.

Requirements:
Bachelors's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation, five plus year’s related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good organizational, verbal, and communication skills. Basic computer skills and ability to read blueprints. Ability to use judgment and discretion. Ability to investigate and resolve problems.
