EQUIPMENT CLEANER / SET UP TECHNICIAN

Colorado Equipment, LLC, is committed to excellence in supporting John Deere Agricultural and Consumer products at our six locations throughout Colorado - Greeley, Ft. Collins, Pueblo, Rocky Ford, Lamar and Holly.  We are currently seeking an Equipment Cleaner / Set Up Technician to support our Service Department located at our LAMAR, Colorado location.

 

Position Summary: This position is responsible for prepping, cleaning and detailing all equipment, including set-up, ready for shipping, along with general maintenance.

 

Duties and Tasks:Clean equipment as required Inspect equipment as needed Top off fluids and grease machines as needed Maintain wash bay equipment and supplies Interface with various departments to meet interdepartmental expectations Keep areas clean and orderly Work in a safe manner Comply with company policies and government regulations Other duties and tasks as assigned by management

 

Physical Requirements:Capable of lifting and carrying object weighing up to 60 pounds.  Able to crawl and climb on/under heavy equipment Stoop, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time Able to operate equipment day and night

 

Working Conditions:Hazards from electrical, mechanical and power equipment Risk of exposure to chemicals such as steam cleaner soap, used oil, spent antifreeze, parts cleaning solvent, volatile hydrocarbons, battery acid Extremes of weather Mists, fumes and non-continuous noises of varying sound level and intensities Dust from grinding machines

 

Qualifications:Basic reading and writing skills Valid Colorado drivers license and insurable driving record preferred Must be Self-motivated, Dependable and Reliable.

 

Selected candidate will be subject to a background check, post-offer physical, and a pre-employment drug screen.
