Dole Fresh Vegetables, based in Monterey, California, is the nation's leading producer of packaged salads as well as a major grower and harvester of vegetable commodity products. Work in partnership with consumer marketing, account marketing, and the sales and broker teams to provide analysis, selling strategies and tools to ensure division exceeds annual revenue, volume and share targets while maximizing profitabilityCategory Management?á Analyze category and brand trends and provide recommendations/strategies for trade promotional support, pricing, shelving/merchandising guidelines, etc for accounts in the region ?á Develop compelling, cutting edge selling stories that highlight key points of difference between Dole and its competitors.?á Assist in preparation of business reviews and new account presentations. Prepare and publish reports and scorecards as scheduledVolume/Revenue Management?á Provide strategies and tactics to ensure sales division hits volume and revenue targets.Forecasting?á Assist in development of annual budget and ongoing periodic divisional revenue and sales forecasts ?á Identify and provide recommended solutions to any revenue and/or volume shortfalls. Personnel Management None at this time REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION: EDUCATION: B.A./B.S., Business Management, Marketing, Sales or related fieldSKILLS: Excellent analytical, quantitative, oral and written skills. Strong PC skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Excellent spreadsheet management skills - ability to manipulate internal retailer data, manufacturer shipment data, and syndicated data. Proficiency with space management software (Intactics or Spaceman) preferred. Extensive knowledge/application of Syndicated data such as IRI/AC Nielsen and Spectra.ADDITIONAL: Modest (10-15%) travel as required EXPERIENCE: 4+ years consumer packaged goods category management, trade marketing, and/or sales forecasting experience RESPOND HERE!
