Branch/Operations Manager - Tree Care

The Branch/Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a tree business in a specific geographic area. At the highest level, this manager is responsible for charting the medium and longer-term course of a Regional Tree Care operation. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the company culture. · Managing a substantive sized local Tree Care Services Operation to achieve annual financial objectives and to position the organization for growth and margin expansion in the future. A deep understanding of Tree Care business economic drivers, financial statements, the capital planning process and personnel development required.· Recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating and promoting all members of the local team. · Working with Account Managers to ensure crew safety and efficient work practices through ongoing training and supervision (e.g., ensuring timely dispatch, reviewing job setups, equipment, climbing practices and crew communication to ensure that work is executed to the highest safety, efficiency and quality standards).· Working with Account Managers to ensure crews have the proper equipment to do their jobs safely. Making sure equipment is properly maintained. · Working with Business Developers to ensure client targets are effectively identified, prioritized and prospected to ensure a steady portfolio of work exists at attractive prices to sustain employment of every member of the team. · Working with the Account Managers and Business Developers to ensure that customer follow up is occurring after job completion to ensure all work performed meets client expectations.· Working with Account Managers and Administrative staff to ensure they are working well together to invoice the customer and collect receivables. · Occasionally selling work and estimating / bidding work.· Conducting job quality inspections.Conducting monthly operating reviews with the local team and senior leadership to ensure the team is delivering results consistent with objectives Requirements · ISA Certified Arborist· Business to business selling skills· Analytical skills and basic math skills· Strong communication skills (listening, oral and written) · Strong interpersonal skills – able to build solid business relationships· Able to multi-task and prioritize· Ability to understand and interpret a financial statementIF INTERESTED IN THE POSITION PLEASE SEND RESUME TO salesrecruiting@hotmail.com
