Windows 2003 Systems Administrator - MCP, MCSADescription: Windows 2003 Systems Administrator Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Certified Professional, MCP, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, MCSA, TCP/IP, DNS, NTFS, GPOThe world's leading Aerospace company has a long-term contract position available in Northern Florida for a Windows 2003 Systems Administrator.Duties and Responsibilities:This position is for a Microsoft Windows Server Administrator responsible for providing daily maintenance associated with a production Data Center.The Windows Systems Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining Windows Server 2003 servers in an Active Directory Domain environment.The Sysadmin must possess the skills necessary to troubleshoot and resolve server issues related to hardware and software.The ideal candidate will have proven technical knowledge and a minimum of one year of experience working with Windows Server products.Daily responsibilities include: Maintaining Windows Server 2003 servers Active Directory administration Securing access to data resources Routine tape backup proceduresAdditional duties include: Rotating on-call after-hours support Keeping up with monthly weekend maintenance hoursAbout Our Client:This is the world's leading Aerospace company and the largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft combined. Required Skills for this Systems Administrator position include the following: Minimum qualifications include: At least one (1) year of experience working in a Windows Server 2003 environment Must hold a current Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification focused in Server 2003 Preference will be given for candidates who have a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certificate in Server 2003. Additionally, experience with, and knowledge of, VMware ESX and SAN is a definite plus.
