Warranty Program Manager

PURPOSE OF JOB:  To provide warranty support to a customer that has taken delivery of an aircraft with warranty or post delivery parts/items (IOU) requirements; provide technical information and guidance to customers and HSD staff and team members as applicable.

 

ASSIGNED DUTIES (To be completed by Incumbent):

 

1.      Complete duties as assigned.

 

2.      Coordinate and direct customer Warranty and IOU field trip requirements as assigned by the HSD Warranty Manager.

 

3.      Assemble and brief HSD field team members assigned by the HSD Director of Operations.

 

4.      Assist HSD team concerning support requirements including documentation, QA documentation, statement of work, parts, bill of materials, work order numbers, purchase orders, packing, and shipping.

 

5.      Coordinate team travel arrangements through Travel department.

 

6.      Control and provide support during field team preparation, travel, and customer on-site work.

 

7.      Assemble field team reports and distribute reports to the Warranty Manager.

 

8.      Coordinate issues through the HSD Warranty Manager as required.

 

9.      Respond to customer request concerning IOU issues as required, and coordinate

      issues with the HSD Warranty Manager and staff as applicable.

 

10.  Assemble and publish trip reports and disseminate to HSD Warranty Manager.

 

11. Maintain a file of warranty and IOU actions and trip reports.

 

12.  Attend Joins/PC meetings.

 

13.  Monitor SDRs and ensure proper coordination in accordance with the Joins PC QAM.

 

14.  Keep the Warranty Manager informed.

 

Knowledge of shipping and receiving, tracking high volume inventory, aviation, operations, Joins PC/QAM, SDRs, and formulation of reports and manuals.
