Visual C++ Developer

SimiGon Inc, a leading training and simulation company, is a technology provider for leading defense and aerospace organizations. SimiGon seeks a highly motivated and experienced programmer to play a key role in expanding SimiGon’s technology edge.

 

SimiGon is looking for a software developer responsible for the development of training and simulation software.  This will include design, development, coding and unit testing of software modules which comprise the training system.  Effort may include development of hardware interfaces, databases and game controller interfaces.  Software will be developed / coded in C++ on Windows Platform.  Will be required to integrate COTS/GOTS software applications into existing SimiGon products as well as other customers products. This position is open for the SimiGon Inc. Orlando, FL office as well as the Reston, VA office.

 

Experience Requirements:

 

Minimum 2 years of development experience within the Microsoft development platform:

Knowledge required in: Fluent C++ development skills and Vast Experience Developing in Windows environment Experience with Design patterns, STL, XML HLA/DIS integration experience – an advantage Experience with C# –  an advantage

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and minimum of 2 years of related experience.  Requires direct practical experience with development/coding in C++ for Windows operating systems.  The candidate must have general understanding of software development processes to include object-oriented development.  Occasional travel may be required. 

 

U.S. citizenship required.  Current US Government security clearance desired; at a minimum must be eligible to receive a US Government security clearance.

Prior Simulation development.
