UNIX Systems Administrator - TS/SCI Cleared

This position is located in our GA, Ft Gordon facilityUNIX Systems Administrator - Solaris/LINUX TS/SCI Mid-level UNIX systems administrator with Solaris administration experience and LINUX RedHat experience. The successful candidate will apply a variety of technical skills, using individual initiative to integrate and maintain a complex, highly secure, state-of-the-art heterogeneous computing network with 100+ servers and supercomputers, 10+ networks and 200+ workstations. Candidates will have the opportunity to support high-end enterprise systems (e.g., SUN E10K, SUN F15K, SUN E25K). Responsibilities include working with lead technologists to manage, maintain and administer Solaris operating environment, configure and administer DNS, Sendmail, NFS, NIS, scripting, etc. In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to interface directly with customers and vendors and contribute to new business development initiatives in Information Technology. B.S. in computer-related field, SCSA-Solaris System administration certification and SCSN-Solaris Network administration certification, experience with Sun E10K, Sun Fire 15K and 25K. Experience with RedHat Enterprise Cluster architecture. Shell and Perl scripting skills a plus. A minimum of three (3) years professional experience administering Sun/Solaris architectures.
