The advanced Engineering and Technology Division (AETD) of Belcan is a global provider of highly technical engineering services to a wide variety of industries.The Lexington Aerospace Design Center specializes in the design and analysis of rotating components such as transmissions, gear cases, driveshafts, etc. We are currently looking for Transmission Engineers.Job Responsibilities:The Transmission design group is responsible for all phases of transmission design and analysis which includes gears, bearings, housings, shafts, couplings, clutches and rotor brakes. Transmissions engineers are responsible for research and development programs, providing technical support both production and field issues, and development of new designs. Tools used to perform transmission design and analytical tasks include 3-D modeling in CATIA V5 and finite element analysis using ANSYS. Education:Candidates should posses a Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and/or equivalent experience in mechanical design and kinematics.
