Aviation EngineeringC4ISR Systems (design, integrate, test, field & sustain)Enterprise Data Management/Data WarehousingEnterprise Information Technology SolutionsFlight School TrainingIntegration of Warfighting SystemsLogistics ManagementSoftware EngineeringSystems Engineering & IntegrationSystems Integration & FieldingOverview:Candidates will provide technical support to the MDA Combined Test Force Test Planning and Design Division (MDA/DTCP) supporting the development of MDA planning documents.Responsibilities:Serve as members of the MDA CTF Test Planning and Design Division with responsibility to support ongoing BMDS test planning activities. Coordinate with MDA System Engineering, the Operational Test Agencies, Joint Analysis Team(s), and BMDS elements to establish test requirements and venues to demonstrate test objectives outlined in the Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP). Assist with the development, staffing, and updating of the DTCP products, such as the IMTP, Campaign Plans, and the Strategic Plan for Testing, internal documents and action items. Lead (senior) Assist (mid-level) in defining the overall test MDA strategy. Assist in the defining of test objectives, test management, test methodology and test resource requirements (including identification of long-lead items). Track and record changes of evolving requirements. Develop and staff planning directives (Milestone Zero memoranda). Candidates will be tasked to use their expertise to respond to issues and inquiries on a rapid response basis. Completes other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree with 15 (senior), 10 (mid-level) years experience in one or more of the following areas: Test & Evaluation, System Engineering, Requirements Development. Required: Experience in leading and guiding/supporting the development of multi-year test plans, Test Evaluation Master Plans and documentation.Desired: 1) Experience in missile defense-related planning (to included sensors or BMC3 systems) 2) Working familiarity with POM processKnowledge of DoD major acquisition programs and processes, analysis and testing of DoD systems. Experience in evaluating processes, identifying issues, and recommending best practices associated with test, integration, and/or test resources. Experience with the process of allocating test objectives and requirements to support multi-year test planning and design activities. Experience in evaluating risks and lessons learned for test, integration and fielding activities. Requires strong communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to generate concise briefings as well as detailed reports. Must understand the principles of staff activities and team work. Requires an ability to interface directly with the customer and facilitate the solution of problems with a broad number of stakeholders. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
