Help Crane Aerospace/Lear Romec be a leader in the Aerospace industry by acting as a Test Engineer responsible for design, coordination and direction of Engineering test projects. This involves design, set-up and running Engineering tests; program coordination with other departments, vendors and test agencies; technical supervision and guidance of test technicians. Qualifications 2-5 years proven success in a testing environment. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Technology or Mechanical/Electrical related is required. Design, program and trouble-shoot computer/data acquisition systems necessary for automated pump and motor/controller testing. Provides written documentation, configuration control, and validation of all programs generated. Writes equipment operational testing procedures and test reports. Adheres to company procedures. Designs test set-ups from written or verbal specifications. Selects and procures equipment necessary to obtain desired results and accuracy. In addition, will build test set-ups and perform testing to maintain test schedules. Provides technical support and planning of bid packages when required.
