Teradata Software Engineer

' Provide technical for mission critical software design, database integration/migration, and deployment.' Interact with users and technical team members to analyze impact of system changes, data processing algorithms, and provide planning, programming, and implementing for those changes.' Manage change control processes and configuration management throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).' Provide technical support for legacy database migration into Teradata and Oracle.' Develop and modify SQL statements, packages, and procedures in a Teradata Environment.' Provide analysis of legacy database architectures, data structures, data relationships, and data content to formulate conversion/migration algorithms, processes, and procedures to new database environments. ' Minimum of 8 years experience in database design, development, and deployment.' Minimum of 4 years experience designing, developing, and deploying database solutions in Teradata V2r5, Oracle 8i, and other environments.' Bachelor Degree in CS/MIS or equivalent experience.' 10 or more years experience in database design, development, and deployment.' 6 or more years experience designing, developing, and deploying database solutions in Teradata V2r5, Oracle 8i, and other environments' Ability to work effectively in both a dynamic team environment and independently.' Ability to translate user requirements into technical design documents.'
