Telecommunications Technician

Position Type: ContractResponsibilities:• 3 Years experience working as a Telecommunications Technician • Strong knowledge of cable terms, punch downs, CAT5 networking, Telephony, RJ45 plugs • Familiarity working with the following telecommunication equipment includes telephones, fax machines, switches for phones, routers, modems, personal computers and internet hook-ups, broadband, radios, local area networks (LAN) or even networking within larger user groups (WAN). • Must be able to resolve issues with routers, connections, equipment or other possible problematic issues. • Background in electronics, computers, ISPs or networking is considered an asset for this career.
