We currently have a position available for a Technician in Charleston, SC.

 

Description:

The positions will perform electrical wire harness modification and repair for Labinal with a major 787 Airframe Partner.

 

Responsibilities:Modification and repair of bundles at partner sites with the following duties:

o Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, form boards and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly

o Rework connectors, back shells, wires terminations, splices, split rings, lugs and any other component built in a Wire Harness

o Wrap and tie wires

o Route wires

o Change routing/ breakouts

o Perform Electrical Tests

Requirements: Capable of completing new hire training course requirements Selected candidates must pass a visual acuity test for color blindness, depth perception and 20/20 binocular vision with or without prescriptive lensExperience in Wring Manufacturing or MRO desirableBasic Wiring Knowledge a plusMilitary aircraft experience a plusAbility to lift up to 25lbs on occasion (prolonged standing, sitting and walking).  Frequent bending, stooping and stretchingManual dexterity and eye-hand coordination requiredPosition may require travel and alternative work schedulesAbility to travel for initial training (up to 4 weeks)In addition to the requirements listed above the candidate must also posses; the ability to work in a team environment good interpersonal skillsthe dedication to understand technical issues and seek resolutionstable work historywilling to work any shift

Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
