Dassault Falcon Jet is responsible for selling and supporting Falcon business jets throughout the world. It is part of Dassault Aviation, a leading aerospace company with a presence in over 70 countries across 5 continents.  We currently have excellent opportunities available for Technical Specification Writers in our Little Rock, AR facility.

 

Technical Specification Writers

 

ResponsibilitiesReceive Completion Specification from Teterboro Spec & Design and conduct thorough technical review in coordination with the different engineering/production departments, TEB/SCD Spec & Design and CCAUpdate the customer specifications using the E-Spec software including: Technical specification for Avionics (Section 1), Interior (Sections 2-5), Interior Finishing Specification (Section 6) with the input from Avionics, Interior Specification Specialists and Interior Designers Coordinate the distribution of the Customer Specification revisions and other related documentsMaintain older specifications using Microsoft WordPerform other duties and special projects as directed by the Manager of Worldwide Completion Specification Coordination

 

Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required or equivalent Technical Writing experienceMinimum 2 years of technical writing experience in a database environment Aviation or aerospace industry experience preferredStellar written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)Knowledge of the Avionics and interior completion of Falcon aircraft preferredKnowledge of XML and editing programs helpful.  Familiarity with Epic Editor is a plusFamiliarity with reading technical schematics preferred
