Job Description: Has overall business and technical solution delivery responsibilities for medium to large PLM customer implementations. Customers will be in a Vertical business sector. This person will be responsible for oversight and management of large programs that will deliver solutions that address strategic customer business drivers, enterprise-wide processes, and provide a broad spectrum of Siemens PLM products. This person will also support ongoing business development activities within customer PLM and NPDI programs. Customers typically require very sophisticated, multi-site, and geographically dispersed deployments. The implementations will typically be highly integrated with existing enterprise applications and exist within a complex 4-tier architecture with extraordinary security and authority models. There infrastructure strategy centers on high availability, robust external security and broad horizontal scaling requirements. The PLM solution under the direction of this role will also typically require non-standard system integrations, extensive data migration, legacy system integration and retirement, multiple computer environments, and significant business process re-engineering. For a given PLM program this person may have multiple technical project leaders as direct functional reports. Coordination between multiple customers and Siemens organizations and other vendors is fundamental to this role. This role is viewed by the customer as one which can provide executive and departmental PLM direction and which has strong credibility and influence in order to bring Siemens resources to bear on the customer PLM program. This role may serve as senior-level billable consultant, when needed. Prerequisites and Essential Functions: BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science Excellent customer relationship and communication skills Excellent people management skills Demonstrated ability to manage profitable multi-million dollar PLM projects Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a large staff with diverse process and technical skills Demonstrated experience and knowledge of PLM technologies and processes Demonstrated PLM solution architect skills Minimum five (5) years of experience managing IT/engineering implementation projects Minimum ten (10) years as a billable PLM consultant Knowledge of Siemens PLM products strongly preferred Excellent verifiable references US Citizenship strongly preferredSiemens is an equal opportunity employer and values the diversity of its people.
