Technical Recruiter
Technical RecruiterDescription: The Technical Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to source, screen and identify potential candidates for highly technical positions, through a variety of methods including, but limited to the internet, print advertising, job fairs, partnering with colleges, and employee referrals. They will deliver on Department Recruiting Goals; and take ownership of the job design and automated Requisition/recruiting processes for assigned positions. Actively recruit for assigned openings prescreening all candidates to determine salary requirements, security eligibility, and possession of required skills. Schedule interviews, and monitor process to ensuring timely follow-up with candidates and managers. Ensure managers are made aware of Affirmative Action Goals; ensure Applicant Flow data is being gathered for assigned openings. Perform data integrity of applicant data, as required and perform audits, making corrections as required. Build partnerships with hiring managers and ensure managers are actively engaged in the recruiting process, escalating problems to the director as required. Partner with hiring managers with regard to the job design and PDQ processes and assist managers in the job design process, as needed. Manage the on boarding process, including preparation and presentation of offer letter; relocation assistance, and coordination of start dates. Track and report on recruiting activities and results. Requirements: A Bachelors Degree, in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience; 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in an aerospace environment; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Experience working with on-line job application systems and extensive internet based recruiting experience, including resume mining; Experience developing relationships with colleges and establishing internship recruiting programs; Intermediate-level skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher); Demonstrable experience utilizing HRIS systems required; experience with PeopleSoft preferred; RecruitMax experience highly desired.
