TS/SCI Cleared - Sr. Systems Administrator
This position is located in our NC, Fort Bragg facility"Road Warrior" capable - JMICS Windows Server Administrator.Seeking an individual who is interested in being involved in supporting a worldwide mission. Help support the installation set up, maintenance, operation and design of Joint Mobile Intelligence Communication Systems (JMICS). These are set up where ever needed worldwide, so any person interested in this position should be prepared to travel worldwide at a moment's notice. Person will be responsible for the install, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Server and Workstations within this (JMICS) mobile environment. Work with Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) applications on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows XP environment. Monitor Information Assurance (IA) program, ensuring compliance on the network. Assess and eliminate vulnerabilities by applying patches and adhering to IAVA requirements as directed. Assist field technicians and system administrators with network and IAVA compliance issues. Train users on system administration operations and procedures. Person MUST be proficient with Server Administration. While training can be done on JMICS, the individual hired for this role must be proficient with troubleshooting all aspects of server administration. Person will be technically interviewed utilizing MCSE style questions to determine level of knowledge.PLEASE NOTE: This position REQUIRES an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI level access, polygraph not required, but those without TS/SCI need not apply. Instead those without TS/SCI should visit www.generaldynamics.com/careers to find other opportunities that do not require a TS/SCI Clearance (GD currently has over 1000 uncleared, Secret and Top Secret level positions available.) This position may deploy to a hazardous duty zone, so anyone applying should be open and prepared to deploy to haz duty locations. Extra compensation is offered during these deployments. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience. Position requires TS/SCI access. Requires a minimum of 2 years experience with network operations and maintenance and possession of a MCSE certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of offer. Requires 5-8 years experience.After hours emergency support will sometimes be required along with CONUS and overseas deployments. Must be open to deploying.Submit Your Resume Online Now
