This position is located in our UT, Hill AFB facilityPerform the duties of the AN/TPS-75 Lead Engineer - Evaluate propsed new vendors to determine adequacy of manufacturing and testing capabilties. Provide engineering expertise to depot (waiver request review, test and repair issue resolution, and verfiying systems performance). Write Source Qualifications Statements related to parts procurementand Statemens of Objectives for new projects. Provide oversight on sustaining engineering redesigns of critical sub-systems. Manage, develop and implement engineering changes to include engineering data and config control. Interpret requirements and develop performance specs. Analyze data and review to determine trends and problem areas and develop fix actions. Provide development and production oversight and make design, production and test decisions.Prefer Masters Degree (EE) w/4 yrs TPS-75 radar experience or Bachelors (EE) w/6 yrs radar experience.Requires 4 - 6 yrs familiarity with system acquistions processes; knowledge in radio frequency spectrum, radar/microwave theory and other radar engineering related skills set.
