Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree SYSTEMS ENGINEER (RADAR Systems Engineer)JOB DUTIES: AEW&C Radar IPT Systems EngineerServe as a systems engineer for subcontract management, integration, test and verification of Radar and IFF systems on the AEW&C program.Responsibilities include:  Support the Radar IFF IPT in all aspects of subcontract management and integration of the Radar and IFF system on the AEW&C program.  Develop procurement SOW and requirement documents in support of new customer proposals.  Develop installation and functional test procedures, including coordination with supplier technical developers.  Coordinate and process engineering changes.  Develop project schedules, including risk, issue and opportunities management.  Coordinate and interface with supplier, multiple functions within Boeing, and the customer technical personnel JOB SKILLS: Job Skills and Qualifications: Requires some knowledge of radar or avionics systems (or similar), and some experience with systems engineering disciplines (requirements, integration, qualification testing and verification).  Ability to work within a product team environment, including a major supplier and multiple (foreign) customers highly desired.  Strong people skills, problem solving, and integration skills are required.  Good communication skills and technical writing skills desired.Additional Comments:  Must be qualified to receive a DOD Secret Security Clearance and NATO clearance.Education:  Engineering degree or equivalent.CLA COMMENTS:
