Systems Engineer (Current Clearance Required)

 This position is with Wyle in the National Capital Region (Washington, DC). The successful candidate will provide systems engineering support to the Littoral Surveillance Radar System (LSRS) program.  Job duties will include;
- Technical specifications review
- Evaluation of proposal technical information
- Review and/or generation of Statements of Work, Engineering Change Proposals, technical reports, and test plans
- Participation in design reviews
- Application of Systems Engineering processes
- Requirements Analysis
- Interface Controls
- Systems Integration
 
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in engineering is required.

Experience:
A minimum of five (4) years systems engineering is required.
Experience in government acquisition programs is required.
The ability to communicate clearly in writing is required. A Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the past five years is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A graduate degree in engineering is desired.
Experience with Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems is desired.
Engineering experience with military systems is desired.
Experience with wideband SATCOM is desired.
Experience with Joint Concept Technology Demonstration programs is desired.
Candidate will interface with program and contractor engineers.  Additionally this position will; work with customers and users to evaluate advanced systems operational concepts, requirements, features, and capabilities.
