FLIR Systems, Inc., Government Systems division is seeking an individual who is responsible for:

-designing, defining and implementing system requirements for complex electro-optical, infrared and laser systems and/or preparing trade studies and analyzing existing systems.
-determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
-Coordinates design of subsystem and integration of total system.
-Identifies, analyzes and resolves program deficiencies.
-Must be capable of developing system and subsystem test methodologies for complying with MIL Standards.
-Develops and recommends corrective actions.








The successful candidate will have a BSEE or equivalent.
-Must have a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in electro-optical systems.
-Typically requires five or more years of experience at a very high level of job performance.
-Must have significant accomplishments as a designer of products utilizing leading-edge technology.
-Should have experience as the architect of a product of moderate technical complexity.
-Must be very proficient and known for producing high quality designs in minimal time.
-Must be a very hands-on type individual that can work as a team member in testing and resolving system issues.
