Will develop requirements documents for Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) assessment of BMDS and BMDS Elements (Aegis BMD, SBIRS, Cobra Dane, UEWR, GBI, etc.) in flight tests, ground tests, exercises, and constructive simulations. Will participate in BMDS-related test and exercise planning working groups and provide BMDS OTA input and recommendations. Will develop scenario requirements for tests and assessments. Will analyze BMDS and BMDS Element performance in tests and exercises, identify critical issues related to differences between operational performance and requirements, and assess impact on BMDS performance, effectiveness, and Warfighter functions. Will coordinate with Warfighter organizations to obtain test requirements and provide feedback on test results. Will provide written reports and briefings on test results. Will use in-depth knowledge of BMD systems and their models and simulations to support accreditation of models and simulations used in integrated and distributed ground tests, exercises, and digital simulation-only performance assessments. Will assist in the development, coordination, and publishing of BMDS OTA products such as Operational Assessment Plan, Operational Assessment Report, M&S Accreditation Plan, M&S Accreditation Report, Data Management and Analysis Plan, and Dendritic. Must work independently, with minimum guidance, using self-generated long term goals. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Physical Sciences is required. Background in BMD system analysis, engineering, operations, or test and evaluation is required. 8-10 years experience is required. Other Requirements: Excellent written and verbal skills. Preferences: Advanced military schooling desired.
