Systems Administrator
THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF LINUX and Microsoft operating systems. The ability to trouble shoot software and hardware issues from long distance over a WAN network is a must. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Operations Manager, SSH, solar winds, ticketing and tracking software and Symantec are preferred. A background in communications including VHF radio installation or repair is required. This position will be required to trouble shoot, tune and fix avionic radio equipment using common diagnostic tools such as Oscilloscopes, VOM, frequency counters, frequency meter and other common communication diagnostic tools. In addition to the VHF repair there will be computer component troubleshooting and repair. An existing understanding of computer hardware, troubleshooting methods, VHF radio frequency theory and practices is a requirement.
