System Engineer
Responsibilities: Define and manage requirements, use case, and architecture models for a mobile radiation detection and identification system. Prepare requirements verification plans and procedures, lead and conduct subsystem and system level acceptances test, plan and manage system installation and sustainment operations. Manage the external interfaces between the mobile system and port operations and the internal interfaces among the major subsystems. Support system technical interchange meeting, design review, and process action team activities and presentations. Qualifications: Must be a US citizen Bachelor’s degree in system, mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline required. At least 5 years systems engineering experience working on DOE, DHS, or DOD electromechanical hardware projects to include one or more of the following:- deriving and managing system and subsystem requirements and verification plans and procedures from top level program requirements,- defining, analyzing, and implementing system use cases,- defining and managing interface control documents and drawings,- defining and managing system architecture models and associated artifacts,- defining and directing subsystem and system level acceptance tests,- planning and managing system deployment and sustainment operations. Seaport operations or radiation detection experience desired SysML or UML modeling experience preferredApply here
