Description of Work: Provide supervision for 20 or more team members by assigning tasks based on skills, abilities, and workload using mission priorities to maintain brigade fleet operational readiness of 90% or above. • Set priority of effort for a brigade fleet of up to 310 Stryker platforms in unscheduled maintenance, scheduled maintenance and repair parts processing. • Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at the brigade and battalion command levels as well as senior program manager office representatives. • Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics and United States Army Mechanics, Operators or Leaders. • Supervise and perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on Stryker and HMMWV's, Forklifts, Field Repair System (FRS) and other support equipment. • Supervise and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (full up powerpack FUPP (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation. • Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties. • Provide supervision and leadership for 20 person team supporting the US Army in peacetime and war. • Provide supervision and property accountability for all assigned property. • Provide supervision and leadership to welding operation. • Supervises personnel in accordance with ISO processes. • Supervisor personnel readiness (hiring, finance, travel, time reporting, deploy ability, safety and discipline). • Perform duties as site management; Environmental, Hazmat, Safety, Fire prevention and administrative functions. Job Requirements: • Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic (such as US Army MOSs 63B, 63S, 63W or 63B MCM or USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524). Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable. Field experience on fielded Styker variants mandatory. • Five (5) to 10 years of related experience. Equivalent military service acceptable. * Six (6) to 10 years of supervisory experience. * Bachelor's degree preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (Verbal and Written), and supervisory skills. • Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components. • Relocate to vicinities of Fort Richardson, AK, Ft. Wainwright, AK, Ft.Lewis, WA, Yakima, WA, Fort Irwin, CA, Ft. Polk, LA and other CONUS and OCONUS training sites. • Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations. Be able to obtain US passport. • Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities as well as field environment. • Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior. • Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties. • Physical requirements: Must pass company required deployment physical. • Meet requirements of SP 2-644 • Normal color vision • Dexterity in fingers of both hand • Carry 70lbs (tool box or parts) up to 50'. • Multicultural work experience preferred. • Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Power Point). • Supply experience in property management.
