Supply Chain Specialist - PBL
JOB DUTIES: Manages military Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts and responds to satisfy requirements for on-going product support, spares, and repairs needs. Represents the company with military customers to plan, budget, and schedule support programs. Performs asset management and inventory control actions to satisfy military requisitions for support. Analyzes future supply chain requirements for impact to both retail and wholesale stocking policies. Investigates schedule discrepancies and develops resolution plans. Uses inventory accounting system to maintain audit of stock, store and issue of consumable and repairable property. Interfaces with military supply customers, equipment suppliers, transportation providers, and company engineering and manufacturing organizations to ensure delivery of support products and services. Monitors and guides compliance with program requirements across organizations and the development of solutions to emerging support and program issues. Interprets retail and wholesale disconnects in the supply chain and develops solutions without degrading support and understands the impact of distribution policies with PBL Support contracts.

JOB SKILLS: A successful applicant should demonstrate a complete understanding of military supply support and company Supply Chain Management processes and procedures. They should be proficient in analyzing data for decision-making, problem solving and able to apply this specialized knowledge and experience to the identification of supply chain management issues and the coordination and development of solutions. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required to communicate technical and administrative issues between customer and program management. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to adapt and respond to the customers rapidly changing mission requirements. US Person Status required for this position. An ability to obtain interim and/or final clearances (post-start) is required. Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
