Subcontracts Administrator

Bachelor's degree preferred.  Professional Certification preferred. 

Defense subcontracting experience required.

Responsible for all aspects of subcontracting for complex goods and services from initial proposal through closure. 

Will complete price and/or cost analysis and maintain well documented subcontract files. 

Ensure all subcontract activities are FAR compliant while working closely with Program Management on large dollar purchases and complex subcontracts for the defense electronics industry. 

Assist in the development of complex Statements of Work and requests for proposal as well as negotiate complicated and nonstandard terms and conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Subcontract for services and goods at the best value consistent with quality, delivery, specification, SOW and  FAR requirements as well as the best interest of SNC and our customers. 

Coordinate with various other departments including engineering, quality and contracts in order to procure/subcontract for assigned goods and services. 

Evaluate complex terms and conditions and issue FFP, T&M, Cost Plus and Consulting type subcontracts. 

Major Responsibilities include:
 
Work with Program Managers to establish NDA's, develop qualified sources, request pricing and delivery. Finalize assigned subcontracts and follow-up to ensure delivery schedules and key milestones are achieved. 
Coordinate any changes with Planning and Program Management to evaluate and report any impact.  Enter orders into SNC's ERP system and ensure accurate data is maintained.
