Developing the new generation of ground support antenna systems is a critical engineering priority for this contract, as well a sustainment (maintenance) endeavors of legacy ground station antennas located world-wide.
 
Position Overview:
Responsible for the entire acquisition, administration and closeout of subcontract requirements, including those of complex technical nature and/or large dollar potential.
Participate with management in continuous improvement activities that ensure compliance with Government and corporate policies and procedures.
Will be responsible for executing various memorandums, teaming agreements, proprietary exchange agreements and consultant agreements.
Act as liaison between the subcontractor and the program office.
Will have responsibility for subcontract closeouts.
Will provide contractual guidance and maintain control over the subcontractors performance and execution of the scope of work.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related discipline and 8 years of

experience. In lieu of formal education, 16 years of directly related work experience is required. Additional Qualifications: Possesses and applies a detailed knowledge of subcontract concepts, practices, procedures and regulation, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Subcontractor Program Management skills.
Demonstrates the ability to evaluate contractual issues/problems and to develop alternative solutions.
Effective negotiation skills. Detailed knowledge and application of price/cost analysis and cost principles. 
Six Sigma Training - Greenbelt certification preferred.
Active Secret Security Clearance is preferred or the ability to obtain an interim clearance within 30 days and full clearance within 12 months.
