Staff Accountant

Summary: Responsible for timely and accurate completion of general accounting functions, month end reporting and documentation of accounting policies/procedures

 

Job Duties: 

· Prepare journal entries, subledgers, and account reconciliations

· Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports

· Perform and document actual vs. budget variance analysis

· Liason to field personnel regarding financial statement analysis

· Perform multi-location accounting and reporting

· Report writing (FRX report writer)

· Identify and participate in implementation of process improvements

· Document policies and procedures

· Special projects



Qualifications:

· Demonstrated “thinker” and problem solver

· A sense of urgency and a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service

· High performer / promotable with growth

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 2 years accounting experience

· Solid understanding of general accounting principles

· Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

· Super user in Excel, Word, and common desktop products

· Multi-location experience a plus

· Experience with Great Plains and FRX Report Writer a plus
