The System Validation, Test and Analysis Directorate (SVTAD) is the central focus for integration, test and validation activities within IDS. We provide engineering design processes, standards and test expertise to Raytheon's current programs, along with new system technology development. SVTAD centers are located in Andover, Tewksbury, Sudbury & Woburn, MA: Huntsville, Al., and White Sands, NM. We ensure that our customer's requirements are tested, validated and integrated into deployed systems throughout the world. Opportunities currently exist within SVTAD's Radar Systems Department in Woburn, Massachusetts. This SVTAD department provides system engineering, integration and test expertise to the radar system programs within IDS. Our opportunities require individuals to perform various engineering activities depending on their experience and skill level, such as test and systems validation, modeling and simulation, requirements development, data analysis, flight test analysis and overall systems integration Some travel may be required. Senior Systems Engineer I The Radar Systems Department is in need of a Systems Engineer to support one of the many Radar Programs. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the program, which would include the integration of systems to augment the radar simulation and to plan and execute test methods to test overall system performance under stressing conditions. This individual should be able to work with little supervision and provide guidance on technical solutions, employ a functional knowledge of data analysis and assist in the generation of technical reports. Group management skills, leadership skills, and strong communication skills are required.
