This position is responsible for expanding our market share in commercial aviation within the Crew Scheduling, Planning, & Tracking software portfolio. Our ideal candidate will be able to work in a base + commission environment and possess a proven track record of creating and developing long term, profitable relationships with key executives.

 

Essential Functions:

· Collaborate with subject matter experts and critical decision makers in managing a complex sales process

· Continuously scan market trends to anticipate customer requirements and identify new opportunities

· Partner with marketing & communications staff to develop strategies which successfully promote our products/services

· Professionally represent our organization to executive level customers, partners, vendors, and the marketplace in various meetings & venues

· Maintain current knowledge on competitor activities and methodologies

· Ensure that senior level management is briefed on all critical marketplace activities

· Effectively communicate to our customers the value of our solutions to achieve win-win agreements

 

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree Business or related field as well as 7 to 10 year of related work experience is essential. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Airline operations experience is a plus!

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Proven successful sales record in the software or aviation industriesBasic knowledge of contract negotiations, pricing structures, and terms & conditions Persuasive and effective verbal communication skillsProficient in forecastingAbility to deliver ad-hoc and prepared stand-up presentations to a variety of audiences, including executive level professionalsExperience in renewing business, developing service extensions, and generating new business is requiredIntermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
