Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS group: WLED: The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. Job Description: Candidate will be an integral part of the Whole Life Engineering Directorate team as a Reliability Engineer supporting the Ballistic Missile Defense System program, interfacing directly with Raytheon program leaders and customer program staff. He will collect information in support of performance assessments; work to influence product design and support posture to improve system reliability; represent Raytheon at customer meetings; provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems; independently determine and develop approach to solutions; exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment; participate in Performance Based Logistics (PBL) problem solving tasks. Responsibilities include : - Determine solutions to complex reliability related problems - Provide technical direction to cross program participants - Failure data analysis - Interface with entire program team as needed to support objective to increase operational readiness - Support proposal activity Security Clearance: The ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required. Required Skills: - Familiarity with DoD Reliability methods & techniques - Proven abilities to perform in an IPT environment - Expertise in MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point) - Knowledge and experience in the development of schedule inputs and program metrics Required Education: BS in Engineering Desired Skills: - Previous experience with Reliability tasks, including Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action (FRACA) - Earned Value Management System (EVMS) - Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) - Proposal writing and integration - Familiarity with Raytheon ISC process and procedures - Work to solve issues and provide solutions - Strong inter-personal skills - Excellent oral and written communication ability Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
