Sr. Raytheon Six Sigma Expert/Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Raytheon Information Solutions (RIS) Business Excellence team has recently been selected to provide Lean Six Sigma training, consulting and coaching support to the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS). To support this initiative a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is needed to: - Design and implement a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) training program. - Provide LSS Steering Committee members with appropriate training in order to serve on the committee. - Provide support and development of the LSS program throughout FAS. - Provide support throughout FAS's Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process for multiple LSS improvement project teams. - Provide Black Belt and/or Master Black Belt project leaders, as required, to serve on the Executive Steering Committee. - Provide Black Belt support to the Green Belts, Master Black Belt preferred, and provide Master Black Belt support to the Black Belts within FAS. The successful candidate will have the ability to interact, coach and influence the external customer's Green and Black Belt candidate population in the tools and methodologies of Lean Six Sigma and related disciplines. Required Skills/Knowledge: -BS degree and 8-10 years progressive and relevant experience. Must have 5+ years experience in process improvement, quality or related discipline. -Demonstrated experience with process improvement techniques and tools such as the DMAIC model, FMEA, IPO, benchmarking, QFD, value stream mapping, process flow diagram, affinity diagram, Pareto, dontrol dharts, Run dharts, SOP, theory of constraints, etc. - Verifiable Black Belt certification is required. - Must be located in the Washington DC area. Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required. Desired Skills/Knowledge: -Working knowledge of Power Steering is preferred.
