Sr. Project Support Administrator

Responsibilities:Performs the updating and tracking of MS Project schedules, reviewing and advising management of discrepancies/over runs-under runs.Provides support for programs financial planning and tracking activities.Provides administrative oversight of third party management and purchasing activities, including processing and tracking of purchase orders and outside services contracts (internal and external consultants/contracted help, S/W license maintenance, and other services).Prepares program status and progress reports and memorandums.Assists the Program Support Manager in developing program tracking processes, tools, and methodology.Confers with document/data originators to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes.Maintains related records.

Qualifications:Computer skills (critical): MS Project, Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Database software, Contact management.Good to excellent communication skills, verbal and written.Should have some understanding of project financial planning and related processes.Program or Project experience in Engineering environment a plus.Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience and/or training; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
