Sr Programmer-Web Applications

This position is located in our MD, Patuxent River facilityPRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide full life-cycle Web application development to the Web Applications Team in developing and executing both stand-alone and portal-ready Web Applications. 2. Work with customers to develop project requirements, then design, develop, and implement the required solution. 3. Assist customers with technical support and maintenance issues after delivering the necessary solution. 4. Assist the Public Affairs Office with designing and presenting content for the Ready Room community on MyNAVAIR. 5. Design, develop, and implement 3-tiered Web applications utilizing industry standard tools, and adhering to applicable DOD/DON and local guidelines & standards 6. Provide maintenance support to existing websites to include updates & enhancements. 7. Provide technical support for customers. 8. Provide user support, trouble ticket handling.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Typically requires 5-8 years of experience. Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Requires thorough knowledge ColdFusion, HTML/CSS, & JavaScript. Ample experience Microsoft SQL Server, Fusebox methodology, as well as general understanding of networking & security helpful.
