Sr Programmer

This position is located in our MD, Andrews AFB facilityInterdisciplinary, award-winning technical team needs to expand its expertise and depth with an "Information Systems Programmer". The successful team member will be a software developer for the HQ USAF wargaming information environment, integrate complex databases, work with visualization systems, analytical tools, and information management systems. Development and integration of cutting-edge technologies in a flexible but demanding environment is expected. Needs extensive and current experience in SQL and .NET development in a Microsoft-heavy environment; JAVA programming a big plus. A background in search technology is highly desirable. Ability to bring multiple coding/development/integration projects to completion. Exposure to biometric tools and work with related data (i.e., facial/voice recognition and speech-to-text capabilities) is desirable.An active SECRET or active interim-Secret clearance is mandatory. Requires BS/BA degree in computer science/programming or extensive certification (e.i., MCSE, MCTS, MCPD, etc) and work experience in skills relevant to job responsibilities.
