Sr Principal Systems Engineer - Guidance System Design & Performance
Provide Senior Engineering leadership and technical direction of missile guidance system design and analysis tasks, including guidance law development, state estimation, trajectory shaping and optimization, system trade studies and system requirements flowdown. Determines and pursues courses of action to achieve organization objectives and required technologies. Viewed within the business segment as expert within the field. Apply and/or develops highly advanced technical technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts. 10 years applied experience required. Security Clearance: Secret At a minimum, an Interim Secret clearance will be required in order to start work. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD. The ideal candidate will possess: -Required Skills: Subject matter expert in control system design, linear and non-linear system modeling, and Kalman Filtering associated with flight vehicle design and analysis. Strong data analysis, organizational, communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with Matlab, FORTRAN and/or C/C++. -Desired Skills: Guidance law algorithm design and optimization, trade studies and requirements flowdown and verification. Missile and Target state estimation using Kalman Filtering techniques. Track file management, Data fusion, and Signal processing techniques.
