We have an immediate opening for a senior Photogrammetry/Spectral Geospatial Scientist with a solid background in photogrammetric theory and application. This position will support the Intelligence Community and provide scientific expertise in geospatial information sciences, with an emphasis in photogrammetry and remote sensing. You will be called upon to provide expertise in basic and applied research; pursue and lead novel ideas for developing and evaluating automated analysis methodologies of geospatial data for various sensor phenomenology and data types; and provide expertise in photogrammetric principles, image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, and image understanding. This position requires an MS degree (Ph.D desired) or work equivalent and extensive experience in geospatial information sciences, with an emphasis in photogrammetry and remote sensing. Experience with GIS is a plus. Experience in basic and applied research is required. Demonstrated technical writing abilities are required. Coding skills are highly desirable. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, and able to pursue and lead novel ideas for developing and evaluating automated analysis methodologies of geospatial data for various sensor phenomenology and data types.
