As a Solution Integrator you will be responsible for proactively identifying and solving program and engineering execution issues utilizing technical engineering and management skills in conjunction with the R6S process to solve specific issues or problems affecting the ability of programs' to successfully execute. The Solution Integrator position provides you a variety of work experience, expands your professional network, and provides visibility and leadership experience enhancing your career opportunities. The Solution Integrator role resides in the Fort Wayne Region Engineering Execution Center (EEC), reports to the regional Engineering Execution Center Lead and interfaces directly with the Regional Engineering Director and the Regional Center Managers for Program Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and Quality Engineering. The Solution Integrators will also interface directly with Program Managers, Program Engineers, and Functional Leads. As a Solution Integrator you must have a broad engineering background including knowledge of requirements decomposition/management, engineering design and development, and system test and integration. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, follow-through and persistence, strong judgment and decision making abilities, and strong people interaction skills. You will assist in analyzing performance trends across product areas, programs, disciplines, and region. You will also lead or participate on discipline, council, region, or NCS level R6S or EPP improvement projects. As a Solution Integrator you will communicate and coordinate with other Solution Integrators both within a site and across sites to deploy improvements and solutions and will elevate issues requiring additional resources to the NCS level for prioritization as NCS level improvement projects.
