Position Responsibilities - Maintains effective intelligence community focused client relationships, generally at and senior management levels, to gather information relative to priority needs. Obtains information and determines opportunities, qualifies leads and client technical, financial and scheduling objectives. - Develops marketing strategies and plans to optimize sales growth, market penetration and profitability. - Evaluates and qualifies leads generated to determine priority status to the client, availability of funding and client readiness to commit resources. - Collaborates and oversees the activities of a wide variety of functional areas and other business group management and technical staff, to develop and provide market definitions responsive to client needs and market opportunities which are properly aligned to the organization's overall capabilities. - May be responsible for the coordination of marketing efforts at several geographic locations and/or abroad. - Communicates viable leads to appropriate management and assists in technical evaluation and identification of technical staff to be included in the lead development effort. - Plans and leads business development activities and manages proposal efforts to capture asles.
