We specialize in innovative hardware engineering solutions including underground navigation instrumentation and other sensor fusion applications. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will provide broad manufacturing expertise to a variety of programs. The applicant will be involved in all aspects of product development including conceptualization, design, supplier development, and prototype production and testing in a cross-functional team environment. Responsibilities may include: Planning the sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance; incorporation of inspection and test requirements into the production plan; inspecting performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency; investigating and initiating corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality; and developing process to insure material traceability and hardware configuration control, and research and recommendations to enhance production capabilities or R&D efforts. The successful candidate will use mechanical, geotechnical, and construction skills to solve client specified problems. Candidate will participate in ongoing construction/engineering efforts for a variety of clients in a fast paced, hands on environment and will also contribute to R&D proposals and reports. This position requires a broad understanding of general engineering concepts and construction disciplines. Requirements: The successful candidate will have 6+ years of related experience with a BS in engineering or equivalent experience. Proven ability to follow and adapt engineering drawings to meet actual working conditions should be demonstrated. Basic Microsoft Office skills are required. This person should be versed in various aspects of manufacturing including budget and schedule tracking, reporting including production work orders, inspection reports and problem reports. In addition to manufacturing experience hands on machining and electronic component selection / lab work experience would be a plus.
