Sr. Manager, Subcontract Program Mgmt. Raytheon's Integrated Defense Systems business has an opening for the Subcontract Management Lead in the Zumwalt DDG-1000 program organization supporting the $1B plus Lockheed Martin subcontract on this multi billion dollar program. The Lockheed Martin Subcontract Management Lead will report to the Director, Subcontract Partnering and the Director, Major Subcontracts, Zumwalt Integrated Combat Systems. Job functions include, but are not limited to: providing Subcontract Management Subject Matter expertise and senior oversight to the Lockheed Martin CBT / IPT Management teams, leading the development of Statement of Work's (SOW), coordinating change management through multiple proposals & negotiations, managing change orders through review & acceptance, assuring compliance with all ISCQ policies and procedures including insuring that all subcontract documentation is current, complete & accurate. Job functions also include identifying and mitigating program risks as they pertain to either subcontract execution or subcontract documentation, managing program expectations & subcontract requirements to meet program objectives, providing major contributions to all negotiations to assure achievement of program budget objectives, coordinating multiple monthly scorecard inputs assessing LM performance and issues, providing LM scorecard assessments including analyses of trends or closure of open issues to IDS leadership, supporting LM award Fee evaluations as required, participating in R6Sigma projects to improve relationships & execution, resolving Integrated Supply Chain Quality (ISCQ) issues as they may pertain to LM, and providing SME knowledge of FAR and DFAR requirements. Other functions include supporting all estimates to complete and managing LM to achieve in excess of $150M in annual sales. Because of its large dollar content, its significant involvement in multiple critical areas of the Zumwalt Program, and most importantly, due to the extreme sensitivity of maintaining collaborative relationships in spite of the competitive corporate cultures & structures of both companies, the Lockheed Martin Contract is jointly managed by Zumwalt PMO & IDS Contracts at a very high level with continuous oversight. As such candidates for this position must be able to effectively operate in a highly matriced, highly charged environment.
