The Senior Flight Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all planning and preparation of travel. This position requires a high level of accuracy, project management, safety awareness and strong communication skills. This position will also support the Manager, Flight Coordination in providing guidance and direction to the Flight Coordinators in their daily duties. This person will also manage all long term travel scheduling for the company and flight department staff members.

Knowledge, experience, skill, and/or ability

Required
• Strong experience working with VIP national and international travel coordination and service
• Ability to continually update management, pilots, and other operating personnel through clear written and verbal communication of trip information
• Extensive experience with event planning and project management
• Proven ability to manage long-term scheduling with ever-changing requirements and priorities
• Familiarity with private aviation and related planning
• Expertise in customs and border crossing procedures and guidelines
• Knowledge of passport, visa, and travel document regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure and deal with last minute changes in schedule and itinerary with ease

Preferred
• Experience with private corporate aviation companies strongly preferred

Required computer skills
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Flight Planning Software

Education/experience/certifications
• Associates degree from an accredited institution and 5 plus years relevant experience, OR, equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special remarks regarding work environment, if applicable
• Must be able and willing to travel and work onsite
• Domestic and International travel required
• Valid US Passport required
