Sr Field Engineer - TS/SCI - Deploy OCONUS
This position is located in our VA, Chantilly facilityInstalls, configures and supports integrated computer and network solutions including workstation and server hardware along with associated network storage, peripheral devices and software applications. Loads and verifies correct OS and subcomponents. Operating Systems include Solaris and Windows 2000/XP/2003. Maintains data files and control procedures. Must have advanced understanding of computer hardware, storage devices/technologies, OS, networks/devices and configuration. Candidate must posses strong troubleshooting skills. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related discipline. Knowledge of local network operability and configuration as well as satellite communications equipment. Familiarity with Solaris and/or Linux Operating Systems. Familiarity with VOIP and RAID Storage Systems. CISCO router experience (CCNP) and familiarity with Network Services is desired.Minimum 6 years related experience. Knowledgeable in the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of at least one of the following: Windows, Solaris/UNIX, LAN and WAN networks and satellite communication systems.Candidate must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 60 lbs. for short periods of time. Candidate must be willing to carry a weapon. Candidate will be required to deploy to austere or hazardous regions for 120 days (consecutive) in a calendar year.Submit Your Resume Online Now
