Sr. Electrical Engineer
Sr. Electrical EngineerDescription: Sr. Electronic Engineer needed for contract to hire or long term contract opportunity in Downtown Phoenix! Primary Responsibilities Originates and develops designs for Aircraft electrical/electro-mechanical components. Engineers electrical schematics. Develops and guides the execution of test plans for development and qualification of electrical components. Works with vendors on component design and production issues. Directs the building and testing of prototypes. Performs financial analysis of a project's design components. Conceptualizes and prepares preliminary and final detail design and documentation of electrical components for evacuation slides. Developing patentable material and/or to oversee large, business-critical projects. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of applicable experience or; M.S in Electrical Engineering and 3 yrs. experience. Good analytical skills. Strong written and verbal skills.Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Aircraft/FAA wiring design requirements/regulations. EMI/HIRF Experience in an aerospace environment. Mechanical Engineering experience in Aerospace environment is a Plus. Experience in a research and development environment.
