Sr Bus Prog Technologist I
The primary job responsibilities for this position includes business and systems analysis, design, development, test and deployment of Java based web applications for a Program Support Group in Raytheon SAS IT. The candidate will work with Program customers to develop business requirements and prepare required documentation in support of development activities. The candidate will be expected to provide technical expertise in web based software development and act as a liaison between development team and customer teams. The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be organized, able to multi-task and prioritize work, be able to work independently as well as a member of a team, and have strong analytical skills. This position requires minimal periodic travel to customer site in Pittsfield, MA. Required Skills -Minimum 4 years experience developing web applications -Minimum 4 years experience writing SQL and working with Oracle relational database -Software Development Lifecycle Expertise -Systems Analysis and Requirements Gathering -Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic teaming environment Desired Skills -Experience developing applications using Jakarta Struts, Hibernate, and Spring -Experience with Ant and JUnit Required Education (including Major): BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
